The Bi-Polar 2400 does not produce ozone. Instead, it incorporates Bi-Polar ionization, also known as Cold-Plasma technology. Bi-Polar ionization uses low-voltage electricity and water vapors to create both positive and negative ions. These ions travel throughout your space and attach themselves to contaminants such as mold spores, allergens, bacteria, and viruses. Once attached to the contaminant, they then deactivate it. Once the contaminants have been deactivated, they fall to the surface as harmless dust, leaving your air clean and free of many harmful irritants.
