In a split system, the Bi-Polar 2400 is typically installed on the shroud/housing of the blower on the intake side; however, they can be installed anywhere within the air stream. When installing, notice the air flow arrows on the top of the unit. They indicate the proper air flow and that will ensure optimal performance of your Bi-Polar 2400.
