Tools needed: ¼ inch hex head screwdriver.

WARNING

  • Risk of electrical shock. Unplug or disconnect the product from the power supply before servicing.
  • UV Light Hazard: Harmful to skin and eyes. It can cause temporary or permanent loss of vision. Never look at the lamp while illuminated. To prevent exposure to ultraviolet light, disconnect power before servicing.

Please follow these troubleshooting steps in order.

1. Ensure the unit is receiving power.

Note:  The nano Induct™ is powered with either our 24 VDC adapter (rated input voltage of 100 - 240 VAC), or it may be hard-wired directly to a 24VAC power source.  For your safety and to ensure proper function of your nano Induct™, we recommend:

  • Only the power adapter included in your original purchase be used.
  • If wiring direct to 24VAC, use a 40VA transformer.

The nano Induct can be powered from an outlet or direct connection. Please select the appropriate option below.

  • If powered from an outlet, verify the outlet has power. If the outlet has power and the nano Induct is still not receiving power, click here to submit a  service ticket.
  • If powered from a direct connection to the HVAC system and the unit has experienced a total power failure, please contact the HVAC technician or electrician who conducted the install to verify power before proceeding further.

Warning: Only trained and qualified service personnel should attempt to reestablish power to a nano Induct™ when directly connected to an HVAC system. Air Oasis and its affiliates are not responsible for any damage to the HVAC system, nano Induct™, or injury to yourself or others if you elect to reestablish power to a nano Induct™ without utilizing qualified technicians.

2. Plug the power adapter into the nano Induct. The green and blue lights will illuminate.

If the blue and green LEDs are shining or flashing, continue to Step 3. If not, click here to submit a service ticket.

3. Ensure that a fault code is not present by using the “Lamp Status” Indicator List below.

“Lamp Status” Indicator List:

A solid green LED indicates the unit has power, and the ballast and UVC lamp is operating correctly.

A red LED indicates a fault condition. Details of the fault can be detected by counting the number of repeating red flashes.

2 red flashes followed by a brief pause indicates an over-temperature condition. Corrective action: Ensure that the unit is not being used outside of its temperature requirement of 150 degrees Fahrenheit.

3 red flashes followed by a brief pause indicates a UVC lamp fault or an open circuit. Corrective action: Reset the unit by unplugging it from the power source. Check to make sure the four pins on the AHPCO® Cell are fully inserted into the ballast assembly. Reconnect power.

If the indicator light is still red, click here to submit a service ticket.

Continuous red flashing indicates an internal circuit fault. click here to submit a service ticket.

    4. Ensure that a fault code is not present by using the “Lamp Replacement” indicator list below.

A blue LED indicates the current status of the UV Lamp.

    • The blue solid LED indicates normal operation. The UVC lamp is within its two-year life span. No action is needed.
    • Blue flashing LED indicates that the UVC lamp is outside its two-year life span, output has decreased and it should be replaced. If you have already purchased a new AHPCO® cell and are still experiencing this issue please ensure you have reset the circuit board via the lamp reset button.

If no lights are illuminated, the unit is not properly connected to the power supply. Refer to step 1.
